Angels of Light
leaving a legacy of light
Legacy of Light Program
The Legacy of Light Program ensures the mission of Angels of Light continues for generations to come. By making a lasting gift, supporters help bring hope, joy, and comfort to children and families in the Hudson Valley facing life-threatening illness or hardship. This program allows donors to leave a meaningful legacy of compassion, ensuring that light shines on those who need it most—today, tomorrow, and well into the future.

Creating a Lasting Impact for Children and Families in Our Community
The Legacy of Light Program reflects Angels of Light’s ongoing commitment to supporting families facing medical challenges by creating long-term, meaningful projects that bring comfort, care, and hope close to home. Through partnerships with local hospitals and healthcare providers, these initiatives ensure that children and their families can access vital treatment and support without the added burden of extensive travel. Each Legacy of Light project is designed to make a lasting difference—illuminating the lives of those in need through compassion and community.

1. Pediatric Infusion Room - Mid Hudson Regional Hospital
Angels of Light proudly sponsored the construction of the Pediatric Infusion Room at MidHudson Regional Hospital. This bright, colorful, and welcoming space provides a comforting environment for children receiving treatments and therapies. By offering pediatric infusion services locally, families no longer need to travel long distances for care—saving time, reducing stress, and allowing children to heal closer to home. The room’s design reflects Angels of Light’s mission to bring warmth and light to families during difficult times.
2. Art Therapy Program -
Vassar Brothers Medical Center
In partnership with New York Children’s Medical Provider Services, P.C., a specialist group associated with Connecticut Children’s, Angels of Light continues to enhance pediatric care at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Connecticut Children’s is nationally recognized for its leadership and innovation in family-centered care for newborns, children, and young adults.

To support this mission, Angels of Light sponsored an Art Therapy Program at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in memory of Rocky Ault. The art therapy room is decorated with warm, bright colors to create a cheerful and healing atmosphere that fosters creativity and emotional expression. A mobile art cart, stocked with supplies, ensures that children who are unable to leave their hospital rooms can still participate—bringing joy, inspiration, and comfort to every young patient.

3. Coming Soon -
Blythedale Children's Hospital Parent House
An Angels of Light Legacy Project
The next Angels of Light Legacy Project will support renovations to the Parent House at Blythedale Children’s Hospital, in partnership with the Trustees of the Ian MacTaggart Trust. The project includes critical upgrades such as a new sprinkler system, and modernized heating and cooling systems—creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for parents staying close to their hospitalized children. This renovation embodies Angels of Light’s enduring mission: to care not only for the child, but for the entire family.

Lighting the Way Forward
Through the Legacy of Light Program, Angels of Light is creating spaces of healing, hope, and connection that will serve families for generations to come. Each project stands as a beacon of compassion—reminding us all that even in the darkest times, a little light can make an extraordinary difference.
