Angels

on a Mission

Our Story

Angels of Light, Inc. aims to be a pillar of light in dark times

The idea for Angels of Light, Inc. was created over 20 years ago by Lori and George Decker, with the simple mission that year, to help a family in need by providing Holiday gifts for their child with a life-threatening illness. They recognized that the holidays can be especially difficult for families fighting for a loved one’s life.

With the help of their family, the number of families they gave to grew yearly, and Angels of Light became a certified 501c3 in 2016. Since Angels of Light first began, they have delivered more than 15,000 gifts to over 2,000 children in the Hudson Valley.

Angels of Light has since expanded it's model to assist children and families living in the Hudson Valley with life-threatening illnesses year-round with medical bills, utilities, food, gas, and much more.
